Services

Intro Consultation

We offer a free and friendly initial tuition consultation and assessment with the student and their family. After this initial consultation, we follow up with the family to recommend an appropriate package for their needs. We are also happy to liaise with class teachers in order to triangulate our services.

Our approach

We use the latest educational research to ensure maximum impact (up to +7 months' progress) for our students. This includes the use of metacognition, mastery learning and phonics for teenagers in our tuition packages.

Our sessions

We offer a complete service that includes: evaluating the student's academic record; establishing reachable goals; giving timely and effective student feedback throughout the tuition cycle and feedback to both parents and class teachers. Our sessions focus on creating a motivational and aspirational learning environment whilst supporting the needs of all learners. Our tutors all have a wealth of educational and leadership experience and a friendly and supportive manner.

How do sessions work?

Appropriate sessions are calendared for small groups of students over a half term. A clear focus is established and targets agreed. Students spend the entirety of the lesson with the tutor, receiving feedback throughout the session and peer support. A friendly and positive atmosphere enables students to grow in confidence and achieve their goals.

When should we meet with you?

While we can step in to help a family at any point in their educational journey, the best time to contact us is at the beginning of the year - don't wait for small problems to become big ones!

How do I book a session?

You can book online or by calling into our premises, 45 Moor Lane, Clitheroe, to book your free consultation. Sessions are payable in advance and we suggest block bookings are made to ensure availability.
